The BSAT Department administers a BSAT 205 advance credit exam twice each fall and spring semester, the week before classes start and the first week of classes. The exam may be attempted only once by students who have never registered for BSAT 205 or BSAT 206 in a previous semester. Students must pass all parts of the hands-on exam which includes the following: Case for Word Case for Excel Case for PowerPoint Case for Access
In addition to this, students are expected to have general knowledge of computer terminology and Windows. Students must score 70% or better on each case. Student have 2 hours to complete the entire exam. Results are usually received within 24 hours and results are final. Procedure Students who wish to take the proficiency examination must obtain the following: Credit slip form from the Registrar's office BSAT department head signature Dean's signature from the College of Business Pay $30.00 fee (Corona Hall)
